Welcome to the Finnish Viola Society website. Our goals are to maintain and publish information about viola related events here in Finland, to act as a uniting element between Finnish violists and to create, develop and maintain international connections with our members. We try to update and translate as much information as possible to this section. You can start by reading Markus Sarantola's (former Vice President of our Society) presentation which he held in the 42nd International Viola Congress in 2014 in Porto Portugal. The subject of his presentation was An Excursion to Changing Romantic Aesthetics.
